The Loudmouth golf brand makes every golf day feel like a holiday with fun, loud, playful prints that bring the game to life!
Golf icon John Daly first gave Loudmouth's wild fashion statements a presence in the golf world. However, it is popular demand that has kept it growing. From celebrities at Pro-Ams to the public golfer, Loudmouth allows a person to be as loud and colorful as he or she wants on the golf course.
In this age of casual convenience, there is an increase in demand for versatile lifestyle apparel. Golfers want to be able to transfer easily between the golf course and everyday life. Hoodies have long been welcome in more relaxed communities and coastal culture. Thankfully, Loudmouth has now made them stylish and fitting enough to wear to and from the golf course as well.
Loudmouth supplies a variety of hoodie styles to choose from, but more importantly, there is an assortment of apparel options to match each one. The matching short shorts for contemporary golf girls are especially cute. In warm climates, for example, what better way to exhibit a coastal cool vibe than in some breezy short shorts with a white or green Banana Beach shark print hoodie to match!
Whether you are a golfer, or simply a hoodie lover, you won't want to miss out on Loudmouth's current hoodie sale! Cuteness doesn't often get a discount, and it rarely lasts long! All hoodies are currently selling online for just $49.95.
Loudmouth says the things your playing partners wish they could, in bright, bold, golf friendly fashion statements that add personality to your game. Speak your mind in LM gear at loudmouthgolf.com where style extends from head to toe and far beyond with a multitude of matching accessories.
But as always, remember to make your swing your best accessory.

Antigua has been making making waves in ladies golf apparel recently! There is a surprising level of subtle textures and detailed tailoring work in Antigua's recent and upcoming collections. I’ve personally grown attached to Antigua’s new reversible vest (imaged below):
To check out the full Antigua review at GolfFashionWeekly.com, Click HERE!
Antigua's newest Collection for women introduces eye catching knits and solid color schemes. What immediately stands out about the new Spring '16 collection by Antigua is the variety of textures and patterns that make it come alive.
The subtle, peekaboo mesh hem on the Embrace Skort adds just enough texture to keep it acceptably flirty. The new Jewel Golf Polo does the same with a reflective, textured appearance that is just gorgeous in the sunlight. The new collection as a whole makes use of tactile fabrication to add originality to style. Who needs wildly colorful patterns when Antigua is offering solid, easy to coordinate styles that look this good?!
As for outerwear care, Antigua also places an equal amount of value on the comfort of staying warm on those colder days. The Complex vest has a thermal, double lining that gives it the option of being reversible. It features disappearing, back-zip pockets on both sides, and an easy to reverse zipper clasp in order to remain flattering and streamline regardless of which way you wear it.

At just 13 years of age, Joe Pagdin is believed to be the youngest in Gators history to be recruited to the University of Florida golf team.
Joe Pagdin is only in the 8th grade, yet Joe has already made a verbal commitment to play golf for the University of Florida. The early recruitment was instantly met with controversy over whether or not he is too young to make such a big decision so early. According to Joe, the timing couldn't be better. Here are some of the remarks Joe had to make about his early decision to attend UF in 2020:
Alicia Moon: You have plenty of time to scout schools and make a decision about where you want to play golf. A lot can change in 5yrs. Why decide now?
Joe Pagdin: I've visited many other schools, but I was most impressed by JC, the head coach, and the assistant coach John. I like the campus and the coaches, so I figured I might as well get that out of the way so that I can just focus on starting my amateur career, and try to get into the US Jr Am and hopefully the US Amateur later on.
AM: Why did you choose UF over other schools with great golf reputations?
JP: Well, for one it's close to home, and only an hour and 45minutes from my coach. Another reason is that I love the campus too. It's a big SEC school, so I like the atmosphere. But the two most important reasons are probably; first, that every time I play the course I feel confident. It's one of those short old courses. One of those Donald Ross types where it's tight but short, and I like those old Florida courses. And Second is because of JC and John. Their enthusiasm and positivity are probably my favorite part of deciding to go to UF.
AM: Are there any other schools you think you may have considered instead if you hadn't settled on UF so early?
JP: I was also looking at Auburn and Vanderbilt, and schools like that. Mostly other good SEC schools with good courses and coaches. But I just really felt that UF was the right thing at the right time for me.
AM: You work as hard on your craft as any other Jr. golfer I've met, if not harder. Do you ever worry about burning out or losing interest?
JP: I try to give myself breaks. What I do is, since I have Mondays off, I usually go to the gym on that day and just relax. Or usually when I travel to a big tournament, then I have two days off. Or if it's local, then one. But I try to balance out my practice and playing. I mean, I want to play golf my whole life. I want to try to get on the PGA tour. So I'm trying my best not to burn myself out.
Joe Pagdin is no ordinary Jr golfer. Joe has maintained his status as one of the top 5 Jr golfers in the U.S. for the past three years, holding the number one ranking for much of the 2014-15 season. Joe currently trains out of Lake Nona CC in Orlando, FL alongside Justin Rose, Graeme McDowell, and Ian Poulter, who all treat him as an equal despite his age. Joe is as ambitious and focussed as any professional golfer out there. Thus, it is hardly a surprise to those who know Joe that he is already being scouted for college golf.
According to Joe, golf is a life long ambition with clearly defined benchmark goals along the way. Of those goals, winning a national title in college golf is one of the most important to Joe. Therefore, it was of additional importance to Joe to also express his confidence in Coach Deacon's ability to recruit other top talent to the Gators team to help achieve that title. If Joe continues to train and play the way he has been, Joe may very well be the golden ticket that Coach Deacon needs to recruit that top talent to UF in the next 5 years; Joe being the first and biggest incentive for other top Jr golfers to want to take a second look at UF in the coming years as well.
Congratulations to Joe Pagdin on making a mature decision at 13yrs old that he believes in with conviction! Go Gators!

I'm finally uploading some of the images from my recent lifestyle shoot with Patty Wolfe!
It was truly an honor to work with Patty. She puts so much emphasis on capturing the personality behind her subjects. For me, as a golf and golf fashion journalist (and also a serious golfer), the expression "Golf is more than a sport. It's a lifestyle." is one that I use often. Patty latched onto that and got me out of my comfort zone to capture me in an entirely new light: Flipping through magazines, checking my golf swing in the bedroom mirror, dressing up to go out after a day of golf, ..and although pouring an entire bubble bath just to clean my golf clubs might be an exageration, its still represents my playful side. The bathtub scene was a collaborative concept that was inspired by Jan Stevenson. We wanted to do something that alluded to the Iconic image of Jan in a tub of golf balls without actually replicating it. I couldn't be happier with what we came up with, and Patty captured it perfectly! (Those images and others coming soon).
Lady in red? When the stairwell runner is in leopard print, why not! I love wearing power colors!:
Patty Wolfe has become a personal friend as well as an inspiration to me in my professional career. She puts so much thought and care into her work as both a photographer and videographer, and the images are tellingof that. Thank you for these Patty!

Rory McIlroy is debutng the new Nike Lunar Control 4 golf shoe this week at the European Tour's DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. This time Nike asked Rory McIlroy to play a large role in helping design the shoe.
Despite having a cool name, the shoe wasn't exactly built to do the moonwalk. Instead, McIlroy wanted a shoe that offers even more traction and stability than the previous Lunar Control golf shoes built by Nike.
If there is an ideal candidate to contribute to and test the comfort, traction, and stability of the Lunar Control 4 golf shoe, it might as well be Rory McIlroy. More athletic swings require more stable shoes. Given the amount of speed and torque that Rory's swing produces, having one of the most talked about cork screw effects in professional golf, traction and stability are obviously important factors to consider.
According to Golf Digest's Marty Hackel, Rory McIlroy has been working on the shoe with Nike for the past 18 months with that one focus in mind; Stability! "This shoe is designed to stay tight to the ground through the swing. At just 376 grams (320 grams in the women's shoe), the Lunar Control 4 uses a cabling system—Nike's self-labeled Flywire technology—in the shoe's body to increase control and lateral support," reported Hackel in his article on the upcoming release of the Lunar Control 4.
Outside of the structural enhancements Nike has made to the Lunar Control 4, though, the more talked about change to the golf shoe comes in the form of a new paint job. Forget the subtle graphics of the earlier styles, Nike is going big and bold with this one. The new Lunar Control 4 has the Nike swoosh stamped louly and proudly across the front of the shoe in large print. The shoe will come in 3 different equally flashy colors as well.
Go big, or go home! Nike golf seems to be all about expressing golf fashion in stand out ways these days, and Rory McIlroy undoubtably has the skills to show it off.
Thanks to a little help from my friends, I finally made it to the very LAST day of Epcot's Food & Wine Festival yesterday! Chiquita Banana and I both aprove!
What I expected to find, and was probably even avoiding, was an excuse to overindulge in gluttonous behavior that would cost me my own arm and leg. Although I still can't fairly argue against that being the case, what did take me by surprise was what a wonderfully enchanting educational experience it was! ..Have kids? Want to inspire them to explore other languages, cultures, and world history? Take them to Epcot!
Everything about Epcot tells a story. Replicas of town centers and international landmarks line the waterside paths that wind through Epcot, taking one on a journey around the world. Each region houses artifacts, historical content, and stories surrounding it all. One might feel as if they were in a world history museum. That is, if it weren't for the also educational live performances, park rides, festive foods and drinks from every culture, and a gorgeous display of fireworks to conclude each night.
Want an even more authentic story than those written on every gallery wall along the way? Stop and ask any employee to tell you theirs. From the teller at the kiosk to the restaurant server, every single employee that works at Epcot is from the country that they represent. Every accepted applicant is given a visa by Disney to live in Orlando, FL and work at Epcot for just one year. This type of educational opportunity is an experience that is usually only offered to students through semester abroad exchange programs at Universities. The opportunity that Disney provides to its employees internationally is something special. Want to know what makes Osaka or Tokyo unique? Stop by Epcot's Little Japan and just ask an employee.
As for the food and wine, well.. perhaps it does inspire gluttony for a day. But it also introduces people to foods and drinks they may have never encountered before. What makes the Food and Wine Festival so special is the number of additional kiosks featuring bite sized tastes from around the world that allows a broader culinary experience than one would get otherwise. One can stop and nibble along the way, stopping in Brazil for meats, Mexico for margaritas, Germany for pretzel brats, Japan for sake, and walk it off on the way to France for a tarte at the boulangerie.
The Food and Wine Festival takes place annually, generally between the months of September to November. If you find yourself in Orlando during those Fall months, put Epcot on your list of adventures. It is well worth the price of admission. Bring the kids along with you. They'll love it too!
What impressed me most about discovering Carnoustie Sportswear's polos for ladies, was simply how comfortable they are! In the heat of summer, I would normally tend to look for lycra or poly-tech based athletic wear that features properties of being airy, sweat resistant, or temperature cooling. However, as the first of the Autumn frosts roll in, I could not be happier to trade in my sleeveless athletic wear for a 100% cotton 3/4 sleeve polo by Carnoustie!
Carnoustie cotton is some of the best one could ask for. When the weather turns cold, the only concern for a golfer is to put on something that keeps him or her from freezing in order to continue swinging freely. The fabric of a golf shirt can make all the difference. Carnoustie Sportswear uses a light-weight pima cotton for ladies polos that essentially feels as soft and cozy as that perfect, warm blanket one wraps up in on a chilly day.
Carnoustie Sportswear has branched outside of menswear to offer the same level of care to women, and we're grateful for it! The Fall 2015 Carnoustie Sportswear collection now carries an assortment of ladies' feminine fleece jackets along with 3/4 sleeve and long sleeve cotton polos for layering up. The collection comes in a variety of classic colors that are as brilliant as one would expect from Carnoustie Sportswear.
Visit carnoustiesportswear.com to shop Carnoustie Sportswear for ladies and make your 2015-16 Fall and Winter golf experience a more cozy and memorable one for the books.
As always, remember to make your swing your best accessory.

I have often walked this world alone. Young and unafraid. Full of renewed passions. As if it were meant to be. Loneliness like a mission statement, worn upon my sleeve.
Wandering alone through the streets of Paris one night, I stumbled across a vision. Halfway between the playhouse and my guest apartment, overlooking La Saine, I took a seat not far from a homeless man. My dinner was still in hand. A simple baguette and some hard cheese. I held my breath at the sight of everyday lovers, weaving in and out of synch with one another. I had happened upon a meeting place where dozens of couples gathered. They were covered in shadow, yet all of them dressed in decadent, timeless suits and gowns. All fully absorbed in silently dancing the Waltz by the water's edge.
It was magical. What a senselessly beautiful scene that never would have occurred had it not been Paris. The music played softly, heels clinked, an occasional bateaux mouche passed by, and a row of gargoyles played audience from the perch of a nearby bridge. The Eiffel Tower and a handful of lamp posts were all that lit the dirty sky.
I imagined I was one of them. First a lover. Then a gargoyle. I hadn't felt alone in Paris until that moment. I'd been too preoccupied. I must have sat there for almost an hour, listening to the music and dancing with gargoyles in the mixed dreams of the night. And I thought to myself, If I ever fall in love..
I have traveled to so many foreign places, taking brisk walks in the night, completely alone, just to feel my own heart race.. But Paris. I have never witnessed so much romance as I have in Paris.
When I finally stood to leave, I intentionally left my baguette and cheese behind. I avoided even the slightest nod to the homeless man sitting just a few yards away. My only company. It would've spoiled the moment. He'd know well enough it was meant for him.
That night I walked with untouchable purpose the rest of the way home. That night I fell in love with Paris.

Will Golf Kicks become the next radical fashion trend to hit golf in 2016? Nike seems to thinks so.
Those who missed out on the recent coverage of Michelle Wie wearing her upcoming line of Nike Blazer Kicks might want to stop and do a double take. No, seriously, they're golf shoes.
Michelle Wie surprised her fans at the 2015 Evian Masters by showing up in pink high top kicks with camouflage Nike swoosh. She followed that appearance up by debuting two other patriotic themed variat of the same Nike Blazer kicks the following week at the Solheim Cup. The "Air Wiezy" signature shoes were indeed designed for the golf course, and Michelle Wie has her imprint on it.
With Wie's input and feedback, the Nike Blazer golf shoes were designed to provide golf specific support and comfort while also showcasing a bit of Wie's personal style. They have already attracted much attention and are expected to be released for sale in 2016.
While the Nike Blazers may come as a surprise to many golfers (I mean, who wears high top kicks to play golf?!), this is actually not the first time we've seen kicks on the golf course. In 2014, Michael Jordan specially designed a pair of Jordan style golf shoes for Keagan Bradley. The shoes mimicked the footwear stylings of MJ himself during his years on the basketball court and was a direct collaboration between Michael Jordan as a golf fan and Keegan Bradley as a Jordan fan.
The bright red golf kicks that Jordan designed for Keegan Bradley made headlines when Keegan first brought them to the golf course. Unfortunately the "cool new Air Jordan golf shoes" that fans were dying to try on were reserved only for Keegan Bradley. A few modifications and renditions later, the Jordan Flight Runner Golf shoes were finally released for public sale in June 2015. The shoes were far from the signature style of the KB series that got everyone's attention though. Instead they resembled standard running shoes. However, KB and Jordan fans can now celebrate the recent release of the Air Jordan 6 Retro Golf Shoe, which has a throwback design to the original Air Jordan basketball sneakers similar to the KB series that set foot on the golf course a year ago.
It seems natural and timely that Michelle Wie, the 6 foot tall Nike sponsored LPGA golf star is following suit with her own line of high top golf kicks for women too. Now Wie gets to merge the street style she loves with the sport she loves, and in bold fashion.
How functional are Michelle Wie's signature Nike Blazers? According to Michelle Wie, who also recently came off of a golf related ankle injury, “The high top collar is so functional for me, providing the support I need through the impact of my swing.”
As for Wie's personal touch on the new "Air Wiezy" golf shoes for ladies, Michelle chose to replace her signature on the label with the scores from her first major win at the 2014 U.S. Women's Open, reading "68 68 72 70". That's code for inspiration to any female golfer.
Looking ahead to 2016, the high-top street smart golf kicks may become the way to go for young, athletic golfers who catch on to the trend. Nike will undoubtably have coordinated outfitting options available as well to complete the new "Air Wiezy" golf look by the time the shoes are released. As well as one of the best female athlete models that golf fashion has ever witnessed to help set the trend.

It’s that time of year to reach for a pullover and enjoy a pleasant breeze. As we welcome in the changing of weather and the raking of fallen leaves, Sport Haley is right there with us. This season is full of cozy collections by Sport Haley that are as warm and Autumnal as one could desire.
Sport Haley’s Nantucket Collection, for starters, is featuring those Indian red hues that resemble the changing of maple leaves. The Stella Ankle Pant-Spice comes in a deeper red that goes beautifully with softer, quieter pullover sweaters. Try them with the white Poppy Long Sleeve Sweater; the bands of burnt orange across the chest coordinate perfectly for a subtle yet stunning ensemble. Feel free to also reverse that recipe by wearing a muted beige Sport Haley skort with a Fiona Textured Sweater. With such a striking combo, it’s safe to let the sweater do the talking and get on to the walking. The Sport Haley Nantucket Collection has a one of a kind luxury appearance that will keep heads turning.
From the Jakarta Collection, there is a theme of chestnut browns and earthy patterns that are worldly chic. There is nothing drab about it. Similar to the reds and burnt oranges of the Nantucket Collection, the Jakarta browns are also rich and full of color. The array of earth tones and fauna prints from the Jakarta Collection as a whole will have you feeling Fall festive. Set your own Jakarta mood! Relax, toast to the season, and enjoy your finest red wine by the fire with friends.
Try pairing a Kalo Pull-on Printed Skirt from the with a sleeveless polo, or some burnt orange capri pants with a Nina Color Block Polo from teh Jakarta Collection. When it gets chilly, Sport Haley’s Java Faux Fur Vest is a perfect addition to all of the above looks. It will keep you cozy without over doing it as well.
Per usual, Sport Haley has a talent for dressing up to the demands of every season. Take either or both colorful Autumn looks for a spin on the golf course, and of course, on to the after party.
As always, remember to make your swing your best accessory. The sexiest thing on any golfer is a great swing!”- Alicia Moon
RJessica Korda shot -18 to capture her first win of the year on Sunday, October 11, at the Sime Darby LPGA in Malaysia. The overdue win marked a turning point in the season for Jessica, which brought her to tears of joy as the fans and friends around her celebrated.
With only one top 10 finish and many missed cuts leading up to the Sime Darby LPGA, Jessica Korda has spent much of the 2015 season simply trying to stay afloat the cutline. Jessica had missed 8 cuts of her 12 previous starts alone, including her latest missed cut at the Evian Championship. All of that changed over the weekend, however, when Jessica shot back to back 65’s to capture the win at the Sime Darby LPGA with a 4 shot lead.
Although Jessica admitted to having begun to doubt herself due to her shaky season, those who stood by her side never faltered. The motivation she gathered from her caddie especially gave her the strength to trust in herself and keep pressing onward.
“I knew that I was getting really close and just needed to stay patient,” said Jessica Korda about her thought process after her round on Sunday. “That’s all my caddie was telling me. He was on me all week about staying patient, the putts will fall. So it’s just an incredible feeling.”
Jessica’s pair of 65’s over the weekend was her personal best recorded score of the year. Her win was also a first for her in 2015, and the fourth total for her career with the LPGA. The popular 22 year old was greeted on the 18th green by Lydia Ko, Stacy Lewis, and other LPGA friends, ready and waiting to douse her in water. Jessica was so moved by her win that she could not contain her tearful emotion, falling immediately into tears as the final putt dropped for the win. That is, until water came pouring over her head, followed by hugs and laughter from her caddie and friends in celebration.
The Sime Darby LPGA is held annually at the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Other notable finishes included Lydia Ko who finished T2 along with Shanshan Feng and Stacy Lewis, and Yani Tseng falling one stroke behind to gain solo 5th.
Kissi Couture is everything that other Jr. golf brands are afraid to be too much of, and we love it! Young girls want to look girly, cute, and sassy. Kissi Couture style advocates that young girls embrace their identity as young girls as well as young athletes.
Kissi Couture is solely a Jr Golf Apparel brand designed for girls. The polos feature girly styles with colors, cute sayings, ruffle sleeves, and a crest logo that would make any girl feel like a princess. Not every young female athlete must dress like a Tom-boy.
Take a look at KC’s colorful golf ball patterns, pageant sash styles, and “Kiss My Putt” polos. In support of October’s breast cancer awareness month, we are also seeing even more pink apparel worn by Kissi Couture golf girls. The style does more than encourage girls to want to dress up to play golf. Kissi Couture also fearlessly promotes girls just being girls.
Kissi Couture is clearly passionate about growing the game at a young age; something that the revival of the sport needs. Those of us who discovered and fell in love with the sport later in life only wish we had been enticed into it through cute clothes and role models like Kissi Couture’s young ambassadors!
To shop Kissi Couture apparel and other cute accessories, visit kissicouture.com. Keep up the good work girls. And as always, remember to make your swing your best accessory! “The cutest thing on any golfer is a great swing!” – Alicia Moon
If you're a golfer, and you've payed any attention to Instagram in the last year, chances are Paige Renee Spiranac is at least a familiar face. That is, if you're not already following her.
The 22yr old Instagram #golfbabe, known as much for her athletic golf swing as for her looks, became a social media sensation nearly overnight. Paige's sexy selfies, cute golf and fitness pics, and videos pulling off trick shots or massive drives went viral within a matter of months. The attention quickly propelled her Instagram following into the hundreds of thousands.
The increase in hype that Paige has received in the last six months has labeled her as the new "Hottest girl in golf". Her sudden massive following has even earned Paige features in local magazines, as the cover girl for Pacific San Diego, as well as gaining national coverage through Golf Digest, CallawayLive, and Golf Channel's Grill Room. Callaway was especially quick to catch on and is now Paige's first major sponsor on her path of pursuing her dream to play on the LPGA.
What is most impressive about Paige Renee Spiranac is her marketability on more than one level. Yes, she is Hot! Yes, many of her pictures are a bit sultry. But she is also extremely talented! What made Paige Renee stand out above other hot golf babes on social media in the first place was her outstanding strength and athleticism. Paige is not afraid to show that off, and her followers are loving it.
As for her unique, rule-breaking golf style, inspiration, and role models, I had the opportunity to ask Paige a few questions myself. Through our recent correspondence, Paige confirmed without even trying the three biggest reasons why so many of us have chosen to follow her Instagram feed:
Alicia Moon: What is your favorite style of golf apparel to wear?
Paige Renee Spirinac: I love to wear fabrics and styles that enable me to swing and keep cool. Spandex or other stretch fabric for my skirts and usually sleeveless shirts are my go to for on the course. I can easily swing in comfort because the clothes move with me and my swing.
Reason Number one why we enjoy Paige Renee's Instagram feed: She's not afraid to break golf apparel rules. She may look a little too sexy for the golf course at times, but she also looks like she could take down anyone who challenged her. Her athleticism alone validates her choice of practice apparel. Even when Paige wears her more formal Callaway sponsored apparel for competition or public appearances, it is evident that she prefers to go for the sleeveless tops and spandex bottoms for comfort.
Alicia: What do you enjoy more, competing or playing socially?
Paige: That's hard to say because they are both so different. Tournaments are fun because you can put all your hard work to the ultimate test. But I also love playing rounds with my friends where there is no pressure and you can just enjoy yourself.
The second reason we follow Paige: She's a well rounded girl who seems to have the full package. Paige's Instagram showcases a mix of impressive trick shots, humorous fun-making mistakes, and a competitive team spirit as seen through her SDSU posts.
Alicia: Outside of imitating Mickelson style trick shots, who is your next favorite PGA and/or LPGA player that inspires you to keep working on your game?
Paige: There are so many players on the LPGA that I admire. Stacy Lewis, Paula Creamer, and Natalie Gulbis to name a few. They work so hard and have accomplished so much. Not only are they great players but seem like even better people. Definitely my role models and my inspiration to work my hardest.
The third and best reason we follow Paige: She has the skills to ACTUALLY play on the LPGA! The recent graduate of SDSU was impressive enough in helping her team win the Mountain West Conference for the first time ever back in April, but it doesn't end there. Paige has also independently shot an impressive personal best round of 62, as well as two competitive rounds of 65, to add to her list of accomplishments with many more accolades not mentioned here. Most golfers simply hope to break par.
Paige will be playing as a rookie in the upcoming Cactus Tour season and fully expects it to be a step on her road to the LPGA. We all hope to follow her progress in getting there!
So it begins, the duel between Team USA and the International Team at the 2015 President's Cup in S. Korea! While the best golfers in the world are preparing to go head to head in competition at the President's Cup October 8-11, two of golf's largest preferred apparel brands are more than ready to go head to toe.
Team USA will be outfitted in uniforms by Fairway & Greene, a brand that speaks of its heritage in the game and timeless style. Team USA uniforms will sport a patriotic color scheme of red, white, and blue, using only the highest quality "Made in the USA" performance fabrics and Baruffa Merino wool outerwear.
The International Team is being represented by Peter Millar, a brand that already has a seasoned history at the biannual event. This will be Peter Millar's third appearance at the President's Cup, and second time representing the International Team. Peter Millar is known to exhibit a classic style with an air of sophistication. The International Team uniforms will showcase a variety of smartly dressed styles and fresh looks for each day of competition.
Although team captains Jay Haas and Nick Price may have only had an interest in participating in the selection of apparel to be seen as the best dressed team in the field, the powerhouse sponsor brands behind each team appear to also have a shared desire to go above and beyond the task of outfitting the team they represent.
For the first time ever, Fairway & Greene has made the entire "Made in the USA" team uniforms with identical embroidery available for sale to the public. Look for the Presidents Cup Collection to show your support for Team USA at fairwayandgreene.com. A donation for every purchase from the Presidents Cup Collection will be made to Folds of Honor as well.
Peter Millar has similarly gone out of its way to supply apparel outside of the International Team that they represent. Peter Millar will also be outfitting the players' wives and significant others for the duration of the Presidents Cup week. The wives and girlfriends will be showcasing some of Peter Millar's finest apparel from pony hair belts and flats to luxury cashmere sweaters to layer up in on cooler mornings. Although classic in style, Peter Millar makes color choices that have a modern appeal in being soft yet bold. Similar styles can be found at petermillar.com.
In regards to appearance, the competition at this year's Presidents Cup looks to be neck and neck for the best dressed. Which Team will you be representing?
Callaway Golf has a new campaign. It's called #IWearCallaway, and those who have caught on to it are sharing the love.
The Callaway brand has thus far been primarily recognized as a leading maker of golf clubs. The club that made Callaway famous? The Big Bertha; a driver series that came into play in 1991 and is still a popular force to contend with today. However, Callaway appears to have found a new drive to become just as powerful in the golf fashion industry.
The trend setters at Callaway Golf are clearly seeing the bigger picture in the way consumers self educate about the latest golf fads. Hashtags have become the new wave of communication between like-minded voyeurs who want to see what other golfers are up to on social media. Hashtags also offer a sense of solidarity. In golf's social circles #IWearCallaway is already becoming a trend to keep an eye on, and this is just the beginning.
The younger generation of Callaway Golf icons, such as Patrick Reed, Sandra Gal, Paige Renee Spiranac, and others have already begun to tag Instagram and Twitter posts with the new #IWearCallaway slogan. Fans are starting to catch on and do the same as well, and why not. When a person discovers a brand they love, the instinct is to show it off. How well do you wear your Callaway Golf Apparel?
The Callaway 2015 Fall line for women surprised me with a little bit of everything. It could be called classic, girly, athletic, or bold depending simply on how one wears it. What I discovered from trying on the polos and skorts from the new line was that it offers a variety of simple, popular styles that are versatile. Here are some of my #IWearCallaway styles that I enjoyed putting together from Callaway's 2015 Fall Collection:
The Nordic Polo makes use of a cute caviar pattern that is incorporated in a stylish and figure shaping manner. If you've seen any of Paige Renee's instagram pics in Callaway apparel lately, she clearly likes the fashion statement too. Upon my first time wearing it out, even the local golf pup approved.
During a recent outing with friends at Maidstone Golf Club, my solid blue Micro Pique Callaway Polo with black Tag Skort turned out to be a power color combo against the East Hampton backdrop of dunes and tall dormant grasses. One can simply never wear enough blue. It was also nice to finally have a quality pull-on skort that features a small front pocket just for my ball marker!
I enjoy wearing all black now and then for a number of reasons. For one, blondes look great in all black. For another, wearing all black is also a bold look that can say, "Game on" when in competition mode. The touch of white detail in Callaway's Piped Sleeveless Polo is a subtle yet flattering compliment to the all black look.
For a polar opposite style mood, I'm still not convinced that the all white look is out of season just yet. There is an age old fashion rule that says not to wear white after Summer. Well, Callaway is breaking the rules, and I like it! My instagram followers apparently do too, as this was the most 'liked' image that I introduced to social media, despite the changing of seasons. Besides, all white isn't entirely all white when the hems reveal touches of blue.
Here's to the white rabbit in the hat, Callaway!

The article below has been published by WomenTalkingSports.com. Link to article HERE. This is an Historic moment in Golf and the beginning of a Legacy! Lydia Ko last week, Jordan Spieth this week! These are the stories that make me a happy journalist, happy to gush, and happy to share!:
Jordan Spieth closed out a record breaking season Sunday with an 8ft dagger putt in the heart to win the Tour Championship at East Lake GC by 4 shots. The win earned Jordan a $10 Million bonus, making him golf's first $22 Million Man. Not only is Jordan Spieth the only player to have reached $22 Million in a season, but he is also the youngest player in the history of the game to do so at just 22 years of age.
As a comparison, Tiger Woods was 25yrs old when he reached the $22 Million mark in career earnings, and that was after 25 PGA Tour wins and a career Grand Slam. The previous record was set by Vijay Singh in 2004 with $10.9 Million in career winnings.
The Tour Championship on Sunday was Jordan Spieth’s fifth title win of 2015, which placed him in the history books for the most money won in a season with $12,030,465 for the year. Impressively, this number is taken before accounting for his $10 Million bonus he also earned form the win. Neither does the $1 Million check he earned through his win at the Hero Challenge earlier in the year count toward his official career earnings, and we are just getting started. If $22 Million + in career earnings is not impressive enough for a 22 year old, consider that this also doesn't include sponsorship or appearance money either. To top it all off, Jordan's win at the Tour Championship returned him to the No. 1 spot in the world ranking.
How did Jordan Spieth pull off such an impressive season and final paycheck? According to Henrik Stenson, whose hopes of catching Spieth on Sunday were quickly deflated, "His putting and mental focus is the best in the world. It's hard to argue that."
Jordan's stats would agree with Henrik’s statement about Jordan's putting. Jordan is ranked first on tour for Overall Putting Avg., One-Putt Percentage, Putts Per Round, and Putting from 20-25'. Spieth made six putts outside of 20 feet at the Tour Championship; a career-high statistic that was best in the field. Those who watched Spieth on Sunday pour in a 20-foot birdie on No. 8, then an 18-foot birdie on No. 9, and again another 45-foot putt for birdie on No. 11 to own the field, witnessed the very reason Jordan Spieth has become Golf's youngest and first $22 Million Man.
Spieth reportedly approached the Tour Championship with as much respect and focus as a major. Going into the final round on Sunday atop the leaderboard by a shot, he was still on the putting green three hours prior to his tee time. Spieth's caddie Michael Greller called this preparation the "early grind, " also stating, "We only do this at the majors."
Spieth won triple-fold on Sunday, winning the Tour Championship, The Money List, and the Vardon Trophy for the lowest adjusted scoring average of 2015. He also finished no worse than 4th in every professional major of 2015, a record that only Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus share.
To the amusement and admiration many, Jordan Spieth remarked, "It's the greatest season I've ever had, obviously. But it's one where I believe we took our game on course and off course to a level that I didn't think would be possible at different times in my life."
The young golf idol and multi-millionaire seems to have more than just his game carrying him onward and upward. His confidence is something to be envied, but it appears to be rooted in his relationship with his hugely supportive family in Texas. Jordan gave a crowd pleasing finish at the Tour Championship when he was greeted on the green by his little sister Ellie who is special needs. Ellie is allegedly the person who has kept Spieth the most centered and humble during his climb to success. Ellie and Jordan are siblings, best friends, and each-other’s biggest fans. As Jordan celebrated becoming golf's $22 Million Man with a hug by Ellie along with the rest of his family, he also won over the hearts of millions across the world.
Well done Jordan Spieth, on the best career finish in history by a 22 year old golf has ever seen!
I rarely play golf on the weekends because it's simply too busy. Saturdays, therefore, are for Me. Saturday is my day to put obligations aside and just do whatever my mood dictates. Relax, read a magazine, go for a swim, paint my nails, catch up on the rest of the world and be inspired.
Today's inspiration comes in the form of world news and fashion photography. In particular, today's Spring 2016 press presentation and debut of the Ralph Lauren Palazzo Concept Store in Milan. The store is a private, luxury "members only" club. The rest of us get to ogle over photos on a lazy Saturday with envy.
From what I understand, the new concept store will be specially reserved for Ralph Lauren's best clients and introduces a one-on-one personalized experience by appointment only. Appointments will include lunch and drinks on the Palazzo terrace, which should be incentive alone for those who can afford the decadent package experience.
The standout image that caught my attention from this morning's announcement, though, was the one with the gorgeous Dutch model Sanne Vloet. She is serenely poised in a to-die-for gown, firewood in the back drop, unphased by the iconic, bronze Ralph Lauren statue that looks ready to throw a blow to her head. What a dress, what a setting, and what a perfectly framed photo.
Other Saturday fashion photography inspiration comes from the August issue of Porter magazine. I keep coming back to the gorgeous collection of photos by Mikael Jansson of Daria Werbowy! This "Women of Spirit" series welcomes in autumn hues and showcases a perfect combination of grit meets glamour.
These photos capture something that stirs me to reminisce over and romanticize past times of my own:
In 2004, I endured my first autumn and harsh winter living on the Clark Fork River in Idaho, bordering Canada and Montana. I was dancing and touring with a local contemporary and west african dance troupe at the time and would come home to just a small wood-burning stove to keep me warm. I became very familiar with the routine of chopping my own firewood, sometimes with lantern in hand outside the wood shed in the middle of the night. I had a collection of stray railroad spikes that I'd harvested from my morning runs along the tracks and across an old, wood bridge where the Osprey liked to nest. Except for those mornings when the moose would pay claim to my yard, discouraging me from leaving the house at all. Leave it to a fashion magazine to recall these memories from my past for me. What beautiful moments Mikael captured in this collection of photos.
Some yard work, a lavendar bath, a cup of tea, and a small stack of magazines for me. This Saturday Mood dictates a "take me there.." sort of day. Hello Saturday. What better way to spend you.
Like my Saturday style? I'm wearing Gimmicks fringe sleeve, open back shirt with some cut-off Levi's and Gimmicks jewelry. Never been to a Buckle store? Resist! You'll be hard pressed to leave.
Let IntelliSkin Do The Posture Thinking For You
What if posture correction was as simple as putting on a shirt or a bra? IntelliSkin for men and women acts as a second skin that does exactly that. If you haven't already heard of IntelliSkin, it's about time you do! Of all the training aides that golfers and other athletes invest in, IntelliSkin may be one of the biggest game changers out there. As an added perk, these posture correcting shirts and bras not only deliver immediate results, but look amazing as well.
I had the opportunity to test and review IntelliSkin apparel for Golf Fashion Weekly, and I have nothing but possitive remarks! Check out my video review from the product testing and photo shoot:

From fitness experts to golf analysts, we've all heard it said time and time again, "Stay in posture". One of the key components to a technically sound golf swing is posture. Falling out of posture is not only detrimental to the golf swing but could even lead to injury when performing an athletically challenging movement. That is why TPI certified practitioners, such as Greg Rose and tour coach Jamie Mullligan, have shown enthusiastic support of IntelliSkin's PostureCue gear.
The IntelliSkin shirts and bras utilize a combination of comfortably fitted lycra stretch fabrics with posture supporting compression panels, breathable mesh, and ergonomic seams that allow for natural movement while helping improve postural alignment. Dr. Tim Brown, founder of IntelliSkin, has branded a Human Technology TM apparel company that acts as truly wearable technology. The design follows the structure and movement patterns of the body like an active second skin that cues the body in ways that train a person's muscles to support good posture. As most Physical Therapy professionals would vouch, developing core strength is a result of postural awareness. IntelliSkin does the thinking for the body that shapes habits, which later turns into muscle memory.
"The design of IntelliSkin [apparel] assists my clients to feel good posture," says Dr. Steven Newton, Physical Therapist and founder of PerformaX Elite Golf & Wellness Center in Los Angeles, CA. "Often after wearing the IntelliSkin gear, their bodies remember what proper alignment felt like. So in many ways, I see it as a great tool to improve posture alignment. This is not only beneficial for my golfing clientele, but for anyone in need of biofeedback."
The PGA tour players wearing IntelliSkin gear stand behind the PostureCue Technology so much that InttelliSkin has even undergone inspection and approval from the PGA for tournament play. Some of the PGA tour players wearing IntelliSkin include John Cook, John Malinger, Hunter Mayhan, Padraig Harrington, Tommy Armour 11, Patrick Cantlay, Peter Tomasulo, and others.
If offered the tools to improve upon the main source of an imperfect swing, one's self, why wouldn't we choose to do so. IntelliSkin offers a wide range of products for both men and women in short sleeve and long sleeve designs that deliver instantaneous results. Regardless of one's athletic pursuits, posture is where every movement starts. Feel the difference for yourself. Improve your swing from start to finish in an IntelliSkin GolfSkin.

"The sexiest thing on any golfer is a great swing"- Alicia Moon
Despite controversersial drama leading into the final round of the Solheim Cup in Germany on Sunday, September 20th, Team USA rallied together to make a final round comeback and take the trophy out of Europe's hands.
The biennial tournament between Europe and USA is one of the most valued team events in ladies professional golf. Team Europe came into this year's 2015 Solheim Cup as the two time defending champion. After being dominated by team Europe on American soil in 2013, Team USA was eager to regain the trophy in Europe. However, in a game built on etiquette and sportsmanship, the competitive spirit crossed a sensitive line of fairness on the final day that saw some of it's competitors in tears.
The final Fourball match between Suzann Pettersen and Charley Hull against Brittany Lincicome and Alison Lee had been carried over from Saturday due to inclement weather. The match was an important one to team USA as they trailed behind Europe. Coming into the 17th all square with Pettersen and Hull, team USA's Alison Lee missed her birdie putt to win the 17th, with the ball finishing just two feet past the hole. It appeared to Lee that Hull and Pettersen had conceded the remaining putt as they were already walking off to the 18th tee box. Lee in response scooped up the ball and walked off the green. Petterson then turned to Hull and announced that they had not actually conceded the two foot putt, which then resulted in team Europe winning the hole. This move was enough to win the match and a point for team Europe with a par on 18.
Hull and Lee both fell into tears as heated discussions broke out over the controversial claim by Pettersen. A putt so short is commonly conceded between peers in matchplay, and it had appeared as though Hull had conceded it to Lee. Pettersen's insistence that rules are rules and that the putt had not been clearly conceded was observed by the rules official and the point given to team Europe. Howevver, the mass majority of those present, including members of team Europe, saw the incident as an unsportsmanlike and disrespectful move on behalf of Pettersen.
US captain Juli Inkster used the hurt and anger caused by the incident as a source of motivation to further fire up her team, stating: "If that's the way they want to play, let's go." Stacy Lewis also followed suit by leading many of her teammates in a chant of "Class! Style! USA!"
Team USA went into the final round of singles matches with a scoring disadvantage of 6-10, Europe leading. With renewed focus and motivation, team USA won 9 of the 12 singles matches to tip the scales back into US favor, winning the Solheim Cup trophy by a score of 14.5-13.5.
The comeback was the biggest in the history of the Solheim Cup for team USA, having never before reclaimed the title from more than a two point deficit. The controversial drama leading into the final matches appeared to be exactly what team USA needed to reenforce the words of captain Julie Inkster from throughout the week: "You've got to play with heart. You've got to play with fire in your belly. Never give up."
When asked immediately following the controversy over Pettersen's call if it were possible to change the resulting score, Julie Inkster replied, "It's a done deal and you know what, we don't want it now. I have never seen anything like it in my career. It's just not right. You just don't do that to your peers. It's disrespectful. I saw Charley walking off and Suzann kind of turned her back and then Suzann said she did not give it to [Lee]. If that's the way they need to play to win, then we will just try to do our best out there today."
Lee saw a bit of consolation following the controversial point lost after winning her singles match 3&1 against Gwladys Nocera. Suzann Pettersen also apologized early Monday morning for the incident, after Europe's loss, even taking her apology to instagram: "I am sorry for not thinking about the bigger picture in the heat of the battle and competition. I was trying my hardest for the team and put the single match and the point that could be earned ahead of sportsmanship and the game of golf itself! I feel likee I let my team down and I am sorry."
Team USA celebrated their win with class and style, making less of the controversy and more out of the fire under the belly that returned the 2015 Solheim Cup trophy to team USA. After lifting the trophy, full of pride for her team and ready to put the controversy to rest, Julie Inkster remarked, "I'm over it. We got the Cup."
